How to Fund Binance: Crypto Deposit, Card and P2P Steps

Common funding options include crypto deposits, card or third-party purchases, P2P, and bank transfers in some regions. What you see depends on jurisdiction, KYC status and account permissions.

This guide was checked in July 2026. Do not force an account to match an old tutorial when a payment method is not offered.

Choose a method

Method Best for Main cost Main risk
Crypto deposit Users already holding crypto elsewhere Withdrawal/network fee Wrong asset, network or address
Card/third party First purchase where supported Spread and processor fee Decline or regional restriction
P2P Local payment methods Merchant price spread Fake payment, off-platform contact, bank risk

Binance's deposit and withdrawal overview shows that available options can combine P2P, cash/fiat purchase, crypto deposit and bank transfer depending on region.

Method 1: Deposit crypto from another wallet

  1. On Binance, choose Deposit Crypto.
  2. Select the exact asset, such as USDT.
  3. Select a network supported on the Binance page.
  4. Copy the address; include a Memo/Tag if one is shown.
  5. On the sending platform, select the same asset and network.
  6. Send the smallest practical test amount first.
  7. After it arrives, send the remainder.

Do not assume TRC20, ERC20 or BSC is universally “best.” Both platforms must support it, and you should compare withdrawal fee, minimum deposit and confirmation requirements.

Method 2: Card or third-party purchase

  1. Open Buy Crypto and select fiat currency, asset and amount.
  2. Compare the final crypto received, not only the visible fee.
  3. Ensure the cardholder name matches verified identity.
  4. Read the processor terms before payment.
  5. Verify received amount and total cost in account history.

Cards, bank transfers and processors vary widely by region. If the account does not offer one, do not use an unofficial intermediary to bypass the restriction.

Method 3: P2P

  1. Enter P2P only from inside the Binance account.
  2. Prefer merchants with stable volume, completion rate and history.
  3. Confirm payment-account and verified names.
  4. Pay only using instructions on the live order page.
  5. Do not release crypto before funds actually arrive; use appeal for disputes.
  6. Never move the conversation to Telegram, WhatsApp or another off-platform channel.

Binance describes P2P escrow in its P2P guide, but escrow does not replace checking actual receipt and payer identity.

30-second transfer check

  • Asset matches;
  • network matches;
  • first and last address characters match;
  • Memo/Tag is included;
  • amount exceeds the minimum;
  • a small test goes first;
  • site domain or app source is genuine.

After funds arrive

Open Spot and select the required pair. Use very small size for the first trade and verify average fill and fees afterward. See Binance spot trading basics for order types.

⚠️ On-chain transfers are generally irreversible. Stop immediately if anyone claiming to be support asks for a transfer to a private address or for a verification code.
